Warriors

By Yiqing He (translated by Spring Cheng)

From the void we come

To the void we go

Before the tide rises

No one notices the footprints in the sand

Except those who dare to love

Every seed carries the aroma of four seasons

Every drop of water remembers how it flows through mountains as a river

Every star is a deep gaze from ancient civilizations

Every glance along the journey is a bountiful gift

In the landscape of life warriors gather

With tree leaves and dry twigs

Stones and shells

Together they build the wheel of wisdom

With East and West they make the bow

South and North, the arrow

Shooting from the known to the unknown

Aiming for the meaning of life

In love we come

With no regrets we leave

  1. May you sparkle like the frozen water in the air of the bitter cold horizons.
May you shine as the moon upon the water of deep black pond reflecting the universe.
May you find a path that fits your feet and moves through your heart.
May you love at least once to understand the forces.
    May you understand understanding.
    May you just be.
May you be in peace like water that finds its way to the unknown.
May you find the way of the water for the water is a way.

  2. I was very moved by the responding poem written by Michael. With Michael’s permission, I translated it into Chinese and published on a Chinese chat site, sharing with Yiqing’s friends. I am so happy to facilitate this poetic exchange between the Voyagers of the Resonance Code across the continents. -Spring
