Our courses have two components, qigong as a foundation, and Tai Chi forms.

Qigong nourishes and regenerates our nervous systems through gentle movement, breath, intention, activating healing energy inherent in our physical body.

We practice Tai Chi yang style 24 forms, as well as applying the energetics of Tai Chi principles in improvisational movements and partner work. The partner work is traditionally known as push-hands. At Dancing Tao, we have developed partner work to further illuminate how to embody Tai Chi principles in relational dynamics.

  • Students may enroll before the first Sunday of each month.
  • Students at all levels are welcomed in each monthly course.
  • New students are welcome to take a class for free before enrolling in a monthly course.
  • You may do drop-in for $18 per session.

Note: We recommend wearing indoor shoes doing Tai Chi in the Yoga Shala Studio we rent. Some options: Barefoot shoes, Tai Chi shoes.
