Qigong has been part of the healing traditions in China for thousands of years. Through mindfulness, gentle movement and intentional direction of attention, we infuse the body with Qi, the universal life energy, which brings wellness, vitality and connects us to our purpose and creativity.
This Qigong workshop teaches Eight-Brocades, one of the most widely practiced forms of qigong which has been passed down since the Song Dynasty. It includes forms with vivid imagery, such as Drawing the Bow to Shoot the Vulture 左右开弓似射雕,Sway the Head and Shake the Tail 摇头摆尾去心火, Clench the Fists and Glare Fiercely 攒拳怒目增气力. - Basic principles of qigong movements and how to integrate these principles into daily life
- Basic principles of holistic wellness from the perspective of the Tao
